COZUMEL SCUBA MISSION TRIP SEEKS TO AID LOCALS

King of Prussia, PA February 7, 2014   On Saturday, March 1, 2014 twenty-eight (28) members of the Worldwide Christian Scuba Divers Organization (WCSDO) will travel to Cozumel, Mexico to begin an eight day mission trip of underwater exploration and spreading messages of hope to the locals.

Highly acclaimed expert diver Tec Clark, Founder and Director of Reef Ministries will be one of the presenters throughout the week-long schedule of inspirational and educational seminars. Tec will present segments on God’s underwater world. These presentations bring scriptural and scientific content together with the purpose of making underwater exploration a truly worshipful experience.

The Worldwide Christian Scuba Divers Organization (WCSDO) is a diverse group of divers who explore the underwater kingdom while bringing aid, relief, and hope through their mission work. As is customary on mission trips WCSDO members will provide free reading glasses to those in need. In addition, Vida Abundante Church has been selected as the benefit church to receive much needed assistance with plumbing repairs, renovations and other projects and ministries our organization can assist with.

WCSDO is partnering with Friends of Cozumel, a local non-profit organization to provide school supplies and shoes that will be distributed during this summer to over 300 children. “It will be a busy but uplifting trip for our members. It is always a blessing for us to spend time with the locals in prayer, providing aid to people in need and helping the community-at-large to grow,” said, Jim Mustoe, Founder and Director of WCSDO.

Jim Mustoe was inspired to write an analogy between Jesus and God and the Regulator and Air Tank. Mustoe states, “The message I received from God, Jesus the Regulator of my Life, has become the foundation of our vision.”  Mustoe added, “We invest our energies and resources to recruit members throughout the U.S. and all over the world. Worshiping God under the water and through mission work is an exhilarating experience.”

WCSDO, a missionary organization works on a volunteer basis. Established as a (501-C-3) non-profit organization in 2009, the organization has rapidly expanded nationally and abroad.

In 2011, the Local Chapter Program was instituted as a method to continue their goal of missionary work year-round to help those in need right in their own communities.
