Cozumel schools will be starting soon.  Over 600 students kindergarten through university received backpacks filled with school supplies from Friends of Cozumel volunteers and donors.  The majority of students and their families came to the distribution July 30-31.   Volunteers delivered school supplies this week to75 students living out of town who are part of Vida Abundante’s mission “La Esperanza”, “Ranchitos” families or “Circle of Friends”.  Special thanks to the 30+ volunteers involved in distributing school supplies.  We had a great mix of teen and adult volunteers (1/3 local Mexicans, 1/3 Canadian and US expats living on Cozumel, 1/3 US volunteers who traveled to Cozumel).
